Introduction to Coldworking

Tuesdays, 3 weeks, Sept. 11 - 25, 6 - 9 pm (CW1202)
Prerequisite: No experience necessary. Maximum: 4 students
$120 members/$135 non-members
Learn the skills necessary to properly use the most common equipment in the West Michigan Glass Art Center cold shop while creating a small optic sculpture. Use of the lapidary wheel, belt sanders, polishing equipment and sand blaster will be demonstrated and practiced. Other machinery available at West Michigan Glass Art Center will be discussed. Take your glass art to a new level!
